Hockey

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Hockey is played in Season 1. The competition is played in a variety of formats, including:

• Senior boys
• Senior girls
• Senior mixed
• Six-a-side.

Games are played at the Townsville Hockey Association Complex in the Murray Sporting Precinct.

District trials

District trials are conducted to select 12 year and under teams for Townsville district. These district teams participate in the North Queensland trials where students vie for selection in the Northern region team. The regional team competes at the state championships.​

​All students must wear shin pads and have their own hockey stick. Mouthguards: All players must wear a mouthguard as per CARA require​ments, a medical certificate is required for exemption to be permitted.
