On behalf of the Townsville School Sport Athletics sub-committee, I wanted to thank you for your support of yesterday's cross country. It was an amazing effort from all of the schools involved. Yesterday, 847 students across 44 schools participated in the event. Team that up with the 116 staff members who gave up their time to assist either by managing their school team, manning a check point or assisting on other jobs. A truly remarkable achievement. Please pass on our thanks to the staff at your school who helped out yesterday.
