Rugby union is played in Season 2 at Mike Carney Toyota Park, home of the Townsville and District Rugby Union in Currajong.

District trials
District trials are conducted to select 2 x 11/12 years teams for Townsville district. These district teams participate in the North Queensland trials where students vie for selection in the Northern region team. The regional team competes at the state championships. Please check the calendar for trial dates and collect a form from school PE teacher or Sports Coordinator. Students who turn 13 this year are not eligible to trial.
