District trials
District trials are conducted to select 2 x 12 year and under teams for Townsville district. These district teams participate in the North Queensland trials where students vie for selection in the Northern region team. The regional team competes at the state championships.
Only players nominated and endorsed by the school will be eligible for selection. Venue and time information is available from the school.
Previous softball experience is not required, students with a sound level of athletic ability are encouraged to consider attending the trials.
A high standard of behaviour is expected of nominees.
2023: This year's district trials will be conducted on 19 May. Nomination forms are available from the PE teacher or sports contact at your school.
